It burns gas for heat, so the igniter, valve and flame sensor take the place of an element. The drum, controls and steam water path are tested similarly.

What causes a steam dryer to leak?

A loose fitting, a worn hose or a cracked spray assembly can leak. We find the source with a short steam cycle and tighten or replace the part.
