Door Open appears on GE upright no-frost freezers with the 7-segment electronic control (FUF14, FUF17 and FUF21 series) when the door has been left open for more than 2 minutes. The display shows Door Open and an alarm sounds. It is a reminder to close the door, not a failure, though a door that will not stay shut can cause the same alert over and over.
