GSE25GGPBB
GE GSE25GGPBB Side-by-Side Dispenser Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Ice maker not producing or leaving a hollow ice bin
- Dispenser slow or dripping
- Fresh-food column warming while the freezer holds
- Frost on the freezer back panel
- Door gasket gaps
The GSE25GGPBB is a GE ENERGY STAR side-by-side refrigerator listed at 25.3 cu ft and 35.75 in wide. It is a wide cabinet, so we measure the door openings before moving it. Ice and water come through an external dispenser that offers cubes, crushed ice and chilled water, supported by an XWFE filter. Its white counterpart is the GSE25GGPWW.
On side-by-side models, the fresh-food column depends on cold air from the freezer, so a warm fresh-food side sends us to the evaporator fan, the air damper and the coil. For dispenser problems, we measure water flow at the valve and check the filter seat. Door gaskets matter here because each column has its own tall seal.

Why is the fresh-food column warm but the freezer cold?
The fresh-food side gets its cold air from the freezer through a damper. A frosted coil, a slow fan or a stuck damper can restrict that air. We test those in order and quote the repair in writing.
What does the XWFE filter do for the dispenser?
It filters the water that reaches the dispenser and the ice maker. A clogged cartridge lowers the flow and can leak when it is not seated, so we check the filter first when water is slow.
Is the GSE25GGPWW the same unit in white?
The listing carries it as the white finish. We confirm the exact number from your label before we order any part, because finish variants can carry different panel and handle parts.
