What F350 means
On GE, Profile and Cafe wall ovens with electronic oven controls, such as the JT3000, JK3000, PT7050 and JTS5000 series, F350 reports an issue with the upper cooling fan circuit, or something obstructing that fan. The fan cools the control area and the top of the cabinet, so when it cannot spin the control limits oven use to avoid heat damage. You may see F350 on the display, hear no fan noise, or notice the oven shutting down mid-cycle. Cavity heat can climb quickly when the fan stops.
Common causes of F350
- Fan blocked by debris or an object
- Fan motor not turning
- Fan wiring or connector loose
- Control board not driving the fan
1. Switch the oven off and let it cool. 2. Turn off the breaker or fuse for a minute or two. 3. Restore power and run a short bake at a low setting. 4. Listen for the fan to start. 5. Keep the vents above and beside the oven clear. 6. If F350 returns, book a visit.
- A reset does not free a blocked fan or revive a stopped motor.
- We check the fan for obstruction, then test the fan circuit and control.
- We give a written price first.

What does F350 mean on a GE wall oven?
It points to an issue with the upper cooling fan circuit, or an obstruction in that fan. The oven limits use to protect itself from heat.
Can I keep baking with F350?
We advise against it. Without the cooling fan working, heat builds inside the cabinet, which can damage the control and nearby cabinetry, and the oven may shut down mid-cycle without warning.
Can something stop the fan from spinning?
Yes. An obstruction in the fan can stop it, and the control then reports F350. Do not open the oven to look. We check it safely during a visit.
Still seeing F350?
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
