Café CTD90DM2ZS5 Platinum Glass Double Oven Repair

Most common issues on this model

One oven heating while the other does not
Convection fan operation in each cavity
Door lock and latch during cleaning
Display response and smart features

The CTD90DM2ZS5 is a Café 30 in smart built-in convection double wall oven in a platinum glass finish. It is electric, and each cavity holds 5.0 cu. ft. Modes include Convection Bake, Convection Bake Multi-Rack, Convection Roast and Convection Broil Hi and Lo. Cleaning time is variable.

Two cavities mean we first find out which oven is affected. We test the bake and broil heating, the convection fan and the temperature sensor in that cavity, then the door lock and switch. If both ovens misbehave together, we look at the shared controls and the power supply instead of either cavity.

A double wall oven is heavy and tightly installed, so we plan access before pulling it. We read the model and serial from the label to confirm the exact version before ordering parts, give a written price before any work starts, and cover repairs with a 30-day workmanship warranty.

CTD90DM2ZS5CTD90DM2ZS5 questions

The upper oven heats but the lower oven is cold. Is it one repair?

Each cavity has its own heating and sensor, so we test the lower oven on its own. If only one oven is affected, the part is usually specific to that cavity.

When both ovens act up at once, what is the cause?

That points to shared parts such as the control board, the display or the power supply. We test those before opening either cavity, so you do not pay to repair an oven that is working.

Is this model the same as the Professional Series double ovens?

They are listed separately with different model numbers and finishes, so some parts may differ. We match the full number on your label before ordering anything for the CTD90DM2ZS5.
