What Lid Locked Indicator means

On GE electronic-control washers from 2017 onward, the Lid Locked Indicator means three cycles were started without the lid or door being opened in between. The washer then refuses to start another until the lid is opened. It is a protective feature, and it can also appear when the lid switch is not registering. You may see the indicator and a washer that will not begin a new load.
