PFQ83HSHWWW
GE Profile PFQ83HSHWWW Washer/Dryer Combo Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Dry cycle that leaves clothes damp
- Heat pump area or filter clogged with lint
- Condensate that drains slowly or leaks
- SmartDispense that under-doses or clogs
The PFQ83HSHWWW is listed as a GE Profile ENERGY STAR 4.6 cu ft capacity UltraFast combo with ventless inverter heat pump technology. It has DeWrinkle, Air Fluff, Eco Cool and Jeans cycles, SmartDispense technology and electronic touch controls with an LCD display.
A ventless heat pump combo washes and dries in one drum without a vent to the outdoors. That changes how we diagnose a damp-load complaint. We check the lint filter and the heat pump area, the condensate drain, the fan and the heating path. On the washing side we check the drain pump filter, the door lock and boot, and the SmartDispense lines.
We read the model and serial on the label before choosing parts. The price is written down before work starts, and the repair is warranted for 30 days.

The combo washes well but clothes come out damp. Why?
On a ventless heat pump combo, a clogged lint filter or heat pump area, a blocked condensate drain or a weak fan can all leave clothes damp. We check each and give a written price first.
Does this unit need an exterior vent?
No. It is a ventless unit that collects moisture as water. We check where the condensate goes and whether the path is clear. The drain path is checked before any part is suggested.
Can you repair SmartDispense on this combo?
Yes. We inspect the dispense path, clean what we can and test the system. If a part has failed, we quote the price first. A repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
